Bitcoiners, come make the UCF your second home!
You are the people who see the world from a lens of possibility. And you are the people who believe in doability. Come make the UCF your second home here in Uganda.

My name is Anthony, a farmer here in eastern Uganda.
I have had my own life battles, but that isn’t the point. My region Busoga, in eastern Uganda, currently has the most talked about levels of poverty in Uganda, yet Uganda itself is among the poorest countries in Sub Saharan Africa.
I have decided to do my part, and I am the founder of the Uganda Community Farm (UCF), a nonprofit fighting extreme poverty.
Starting August 2026:
I’m asking every Bitcoiner who is reading this, anywhere in the world, to make the UCF your second home (or your gateaway home) in Uganda where you can come and stay whenever you are free, whether that means once or twice a year, or staying here fully!
In turn, we need you to bring us more friends from the Bitcoin community to work with us to install one solution: a grain processing facility, because Bitcoiners are the people who believe in possibility, and in building systems that advance human sovereignty.
We’ll also pay you back:
Putting aside the poverty here, our region Busoga is home to many beautiful sceneries, e.g., the Source of the Nile River, the world’s longest river (home to whitewater rafting), and many other places. During your time with us, we will take you to see these places.
Immortalizing our friendship:
Long after we have built our grain processing facility together with you, we want the UCF to remain your getaway home in Uganda where you can check in whenever you please, and we want our friendship to live on thereafter. It is why we will place the words ‘Made Possible By Bitcoin‘ on our facility’s main building once it is complete.
Maybe, in the future, this facility could even end up spawning our own Bitcoin journey, whether that means using crop residues from our plant to run a few miners of our own, or building a circular economy where our farmers are paid for their produce in Bitcoin.
Let’s do it! See our main invitation for Bitcoiners to work with us on this facility here.
